Many (most?) Germans are in denial about the experience of PoC in Germany. Hopefully this helps to clear things up.
Germany’s Afrozensus has been released, with extended surveys on how black people are treated in Germany ⚫️90% had their hair grabbed ⚫️56% asked for drugs / stopped by police ⚫️80% had comments about their race while dating ⚫️90% weren’t believed when they spoe about racism

Exactly one year ago today, I launched @SpaceHey on Product Hunt, Hacker News and Reddit. I created the initial version in about 3 weeks as a fun side-project. Now, one year later, it's at around 400 000 users - which is unbelievable - and my life has changed A LOT since then! 🧵

They're burying the lede here, higher parking and resident parking fees to make car ownership less attractive, coupled with real development of public transit. This is good stuff.

Most vaccines require a series for full effectiveness. The mRNA vaccines worked a lot better than expected with just two doses but it’s not the best regimen. Based on the data, the “booster” shot is much more effective—there’s no reason to believe you’ll need another anytime soon
key to remember that a booster is not just restoring immunity, it's better than 2 doses ever was ft.com/content/8330da6c-031d…

It’s heartbreaking seeing people discovering LongCovid for the first time. The panic, despair, & feelings of betrayal are palpable. Media & government spent two years downplaying this virus, instead of preparing people to live with chronic illness. There is no plan to support us.

If NFTs go mainstream it will be through a single platform that has nailed the UX and thus becomes synonyms with them, making it indistinguishable from a proprietary platform.
