One of the healthiest things happening in recent memory is those servicemen coming to realize just how much theyve been lied to and how bloody and evil American leadership is capable of being.

I helped the empire kill innocent children and I can’t undo it.

American leadership isn't evil -- At every point they tried to find mutually beneficial ways of using the military. There's just not very many useful applications for a big impressive military. No one could have predicted that.

You should consider having Sgt. Dan McKnight, Chairman of @TroopsHomeUS, on YOUR WELCOME. They’re the antiwar vets that Dave Smith told you about. They’re working on state legislation to prohibit DC from deploying the National Guard into combat without a declaration of war.

Vet. The rules of engagement were fairly consistent by 2007. Positive ID + Hostile Act. Troops actively engaged with the enemy needed 3-star approval for air or artillery. They rarely got it. But for some reason, the rules didn’t apply to CIA. Or presidents.

Sadly, most of them I know are encouraging their children to serve. I don’t get it.
