As @POTUS said yesterday, we will be prepared for every scenario as it related to Omicron and the vaccines. The doctors said it will take a few weeks to understand the vaccines’ effectiveness against Omicron. We have tools to help protect us right now: vaccinations and boosters.

.@POTUS is using every tool at his disposal to fight inflation and lower prices -- what would the GOP do? ❌ Let COVID-19 run rampant ❌ Raise cost of essentials like health care and housing ❌ Stop millions of jobs from being created nbcnews.com/politics/politic…

One step already approved and available in 80,000 locations, coast-to-coast: booster shots. Every American over 18 who got vaccinated six months ago (or more) is eligible. They are free, safe, and effective.
Over the past couple weeks we’ve seen the White House try harder to address the public’s concerns around supply chains and gas prices. If this variant becomes a big deal would be interesting to see if they could do similar things to help speed up drug/vaccine approvals, etc.

96.5% of USG employees are compliant with the President’s vaccine requirement. With no disruptions. This sends the clear message to businesses to move forward with similar measures that will protect their workforce, customers, and communities. apnews.com/article/coronavir…

There is plenty of turkey to go around, and turkey farmers agree. The price is up about $1 a bird for a pretty big bird. The expanded child tax credit coming in monthly is a lot more than that.

Just one provision in BBB: universal pre-school. For the first time in decades we are adding two years to universal education. Think about it. We are going from 12 to 14 years of free universal public education.

How did we reach this? CBO estimates that BBB will add $367.1B to the deficit. That doesn’t include revenue collected from tax enforcement. Treasury estimates $479.6 revenue from tax enforcement. So… $112.5B in deficit reduction
