Got video from today's launch of #SpaceX #Falcon9 rocket yet again, as usual on S transponder 2272.5MHz! Decoded with @aang254's SatDump software. Setup as usual WiFi mesh antenna, MMDS convertor and Airspy MINI SDR!

We continue to troubleshoot downlink issues on our ground station. Coax and antennas were tested with a NanoVNA and verified to be good, and we replaced a preamp as precaution, with no discernible improvement. We may lower the baud rate soon as a result, more updates later.

YUNHAI-1-02 that broken down into 18pieces in March 2021 happily TXing on 1704.0 (same signal as @HRPTEgor randomly saw few months back) identified by Serge @meteosatellites. Quite concirning its reported as "dead" but still online giving the fact it has military purposes ngl.

Another overview of the HackRF SuperCluster. Finally connected to my clock distribution board and GPSDO. Clocks and sync pulses are verified. Everything is normal. Power is stable. Now I have to work around the USB bandwidth problem. 😀 Have some ideas...

I decided to watch a movie Godzilla vs. Kong while i was trying to get asleep, i thought i would pass out after few minutes from being super tired. Somehow its 4AM and i got through the whole movie without even being tired anymore. Cool movie, some issues but otherwise good. 7/10

Soyuz TLM transmitters on 630MHz recieved while its docked to ISS. Very strong signals on both 628 and 634MHz. Recieved with UHF logaperiodic antenna meant for TV reception and Airspy MINI, you can see distant TV DVBT2 multiplex fading in background. Sadly no imagery :)

These signals cannot be usually recieved everywhere in EUrope and most of the world due to Soyuz using frequency usually allocated to strong TV transmitters, in USA 630MHz band is allocated for space research so americans you can recieve it with no interference problem!

Whoops , seems like i mixed 630MHz channel 40 with channel "37" which is 608MHz...... Still worth a try for anyone tho, to recieve this you really dont need much, just luck for no interference..

Just tried my 4el 2m DK7ZB yagi on AMSAT AO91 pass above central EUrope, next pass hopefully half duplex with my new "wooden age" WA6VJB 8el 70cm yagi that @uhf_satcom adviced me to build. Stations heard: IU0GCR, UR9MS, DG0BBE

Wait... Is this really in Nintendo Switch user manual?
Seems like a legit way to assign an IP address... 🤔

So we all heard about handtracking in context with tracking satellites with dish using your hands... But have you heard about the skill of legtracking?!?

the issue with programming is that when you dont know something and reach out to help (thx @aang254 again) it usually is just few characters of code and you feel so dumb for being stuck on it for so long, btw @SkyFoxLabs this VBat (in mV) doesnt seem right?
