Hmm. That feeling when you are excited a country adopted bitcoin but creeped out by the statist, popularist and speculative way it was adopted
2022 predictions on #Bitcoin: •Will reach $100k •2 more countries will adopt it as legal tender •Will become a major electoral issue in US elections this year •Bitcoin City will commence construction •Volcano bonds will be oversubscribed •Huge surprise at @TheBitcoinConf

The #LightningNetwork has a theoretical throughput of 40 million #TPS. That’s the equivalent of 14.4 TB size blocks every 10 min. Lightning enables #Bitcoin to be a planetary scale decentralized medium of exchange. ⚡️🚀

if you print our and read everything Warren Buffett ever wrote before you turn 30, you have a reasonably good chance of becoming a millionaire before you turn 40.

The wonders of CPI The median price of plasma TVs goes down $50. The median price of houses goes up $100,000. All else being equal, we're told we are better off. Salaries stay the same. Who's better off?? Does no one see how the system is rigged.
Why so fixated on CPI & velocity? If you pump M2, the recipients won't spend it all on CPI (TVs, groceries etc) they spend it on investments (houses, stocks etc) pumping asset prices CPI & velocity focus on final goods so ignore asset inflation. That's the issue - not CPI
In 2008-09, when the Fed started quantitative easing, I thought that inflation would take off. I was wrong. Instead, velocity - the rate at which money turns over per year - declined, taking away its inflationary sting. Velocity still is falling.

redirect.invidious.io/watch?v=7VRwRJI_… "And that's the other way the citizens of the world are paying for the pandemic - through more expensive house prices" Central banks funding government debt is horrible policy and highly inequitable. Destroying Australia #Bitcoin fixes this. #auspol

You may accumulate more #BTC than I have, but you cannot dilute my stack as a percentage of total supply. My future is secure. What a revolutionary concept.

At approximately $72,800, Bitcoin will surpass the total value of all the silver in the world. That's the next big milestone for Satoshi Nakamoto's remarkable invention, once just a string of code on a solitary computer, running quietly in the wake of the Great Financial Crisis.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate that we’ve front run 99.9% of institutional money that is going to flow into #bitcoin, instead of institutions front running us. The only difference is we won’t dump on them as they do to us in tradfi because we’re never fucking selling.

Jack is such an awesome supporter of Bitcoin
Square is considering building a Bitcoin mining system based on custom silicon and open source for individuals and businesses worldwide. If we do this, we’d follow our hardware wallet model: build in the open in collaboration with the community. First some thoughts and questions.

Getting a steady income from bitcoin mining feels good: like responsible, patient investing I assume this is the feeling boomers used to get from dividend and interest income before the Fed fucked with rates and messed it up
